isolation in and around the garden
5/2/2020
I haven't updated my website in a few years and can't believe how the time has flown - busy at my real job doesn't leave me with much creative time apart from now.
Self isolation is a strange thing - we all seem to be floating through this surreal time and it has been a real eye opener, I find myself wondering where do the days go and can't believe just how many things we take for grated day after day. Having more free time in my life has given me the opportunity to work on exciting projects that i totally enjoy but never seem to have the time to complete - painting furniture, working in my studio, putting in a new veggie patch, propagating succulents and just being home to potter around the house. In saying that, Im really looking forward to getting back into the real world soon and start hunting around for those amazing rustic vintage finds.

sunday market wash out
8/27/2017
Spent Sunday at the Nunawading market, hail, wind and rain they were all there to greet us and apart from the stormy sky above and shivering laughter we managed to make a few dollars between us. I found safety hiding under the umbrella as my succulents seemed to be loving every drop of the cold winter rain but poor Chris on the other hand was hard at work trying to keep her amazing soaps from breaking out into bubbles.
Next week we'll take on the Frankston market ...weather permitting. teacup gardens...

Out & About

A friend of mine took me to a cute little shop on the weekend.
The Belgrave Emporium in Belgrave, Mt Dandenong is a treasure trove of vintage finds, hand made gifts and pre loved items, everything from clothes, shoes, books and china. Needing a creative boost or a place to escape the cold, the Belgrave Emporium is definitely worth a look and there's plenty of Yummy coffee shops nearby to recharge your batteries. |
